Yachting ropes

1- Sheets and halyards is ropes with low elongation, very high strength and abrasion resistance and long service life. Mostly polyester for normal applications is used here. Polypropylene and nylon is alternative for less demanding conditions.

The best choice is :

• polyester 12-strands braided ropes with core or without core
• polyester 8-strands braided ropes
• polyester 32-strands braided ropes with core
• polyester cords with core
  
• combined cords (polyester with nylon core)
• sometines 12-,8-,32-strands braided ropes and cords with core made of pp, nylon or its combinations
  

2 - Mooring and anchoring ropes is ropes with good strength, adequate elasticity being able to absorb shocks, and good abrasion resistance.It can be ropes made from nylon, polyester or polypropylene, combinations of materials.

The best choice is:

• Nylon or polypropylene plain-laid ropes (Three-strand twisted)
  
• Nylon or polypropylene 12-strands braided ropes
• Nylon or polypropylene 32-strands braided ropes with core
• Braided cords with core made of pp, nylon or its combinations
  

  
  

3 - Ancillary ropes are suitable for many applications aboard, from fastening ropes and cords of small diameters to lifting ropes and single mooring and tow ropes of bigger diameters. It can be ropes made from nylon, polyester or polypropylene, combinations of materials. It can be 12-strands braided ropes , 32-strands braided ropes with core, 8-strands braided ropes, Braided cords with core or without it.
